The Google Developer Groups (GDG) St. Joseph’s Institute of Technology proudly hosted an engaging GIT and GitHub workshop on 16th December 2024, led by the dynamic Syed Jafer K from Bosch Global Software Technologies. This interactive session took students on an exciting journey through the essentials of version control, practical GIT commands, and GitHub features like hosting webpages and automating workflows with GitHub Actions.  
With hands-on tasks and real-world insights, participants mastered collaborative project management while exploring the impact of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and KanchiLUG. The workshop also championed the importance of software development in Tamil, inspiring students to embrace innovation and community-driven growth in tech.
