The GDG SECE Leadership Announcement Ceremony held on November 7, 2024, was a momentous event celebrating the announcement of new leaders for the Google Developer Groups (GDG) on Campus SECE chapter. The event began with a prayer song and welcome address, followed by the ceremonial honoring of Chief Guests, Mr. Siddarth Kengadaran (GDG Organizer - Coimbatore) and Mr. Gokul Dhamodaran (Co-founder, Kovan Labs).

Dr. R. Subha, Head of the CSE Department, delivered the inaugural address, setting an inspiring tone for the day. The Chief Guests gave special addresses, sharing insights on technology, leadership, and the importance of GDG in empowering young developers. A video presentation further introduced GDG’s mission, while Griffin Annshual and Muruga Perumal R (GDG Organizers) detailed the benefits and goals for the year.

The highlight was the official announcement and badge distribution for the newly appointed domain leads, marking their roles as pioneers in tech for 2024-25. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. Karthick Raja, followed by a group photo to commemorate this memorable occasion, which set a collaborative tone for the year ahead.
