In this session, we’ll walk through what GDG is all about, how we conduct group discussions, and how one can actively participate in upcoming events and sessions. As a platform focused on personal growth, communication, and collaborative learning, GDG offers a welcoming environment for students from all backgrounds—whether you're stepping into their very first group discussion or already have some experience. We’ll introduce them to the structure of our sessions, the types of topics we explore, and the various roles one can take on to get involved, be it as a speaker, listener, moderator, or even a future organizer. One can also learn how regular participation can significantly boost their public speaking, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills—skills that are not just valuable in college but essential in any professional path.
