“Bad App, Better App”
We’ll kick things off with a fun, interactive game where you’ll try to find poorly design features and brainstorm better solutions. No design experience required!

Student Talk – UI/UX Foundations (20–30 min)
Speaker: Cadline Boakye, Sheridan College Interaction Design program
Cadline will share essential principles of user interface and user experience design, making it accessible and practical for newcomers.

Industry Talk – Insights from Google (20–30 min)
Brendan Polley, UX Designer from Google
Hear about Google’s design principles, the challenges of designing at scale, and his personal working experiences.
