The Google Developer Group On Campus (GDGC) NIT Surat successfully conducted an Informational Session on the Google Solution Challenge on January 20th, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. This session aimed to introduce students to the Google Solution Challenge, a global competition organized by Google to inspire Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) members worldwide to develop projects addressing the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using Google technologies.

The event was designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Solution Challenge, including its objectives, structure, and benefits. The session helped students explore how they could take part in this prestigious competition, guiding them through project ideation, development, and submission processes.The session saw enthusiastic participation, with students actively engaging in discussions and seeking guidance on how to approach the challenge effectively. GDGC will continue to support interested participants through mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities leading up to the Solution Challenge submission deadline.
