The Orientation Session, organized by Google Developer Groups (GDG) On Campus, Sahrdaya, was held on 30th September 2024 at the Multipurpose Auditorium from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The session aimed to introduce the first-year students to the vibrant world of GDG On Campus and encourage them to engage in various technology-focused activities and events.

During the session, the new GDG On Campus team provided a brief overview of the community’s goals—to foster learning, collaboration, and innovation. The attendees were also given a sneak peek into exciting upcoming events, such as the Gen AI Study Jams and future initiatives, including a college roadmap session specifically curated for first-year students to guide them in their academic journey.

The event created a platform for students to understand how they can actively participate in GDG On Campus activities, develop technical skills, and connect with like-minded peers. Through this orientation, the first-year students gained insights into the community’s mission and were encouraged to take the first step toward becoming part of a supportive and dynamic tech ecosystem at Sahrdaya.
