On 14th October 2025, GDG On Campus Sahrdaya hosted an engaging event, Build With AI, designed to inspire and equip students with insights into the transformative power of artificial intelligence. The highlight of the session was a talk by Mr. Soj Thomas, Head of Engineering at Bosch, who provided an in-depth look at how AI is revolutionizing industries worldwide. His 20-minute session explored both the challenges and groundbreaking advancements AI is bringing to engineering, igniting curiosity and excitement among students eager to understand AI’s role in shaping future technologies.

The event also marked an important transition within the GDG community. A farewell ceremony honored the outgoing GDG team for their valuable contributions over the past year. As they shared their experiences, their dedication inspired incoming members to continue building an inclusive, vibrant tech community on campus. The newly selected GDG leads and core team members were then introduced, setting a fresh tone for the upcoming year and their commitment to fostering technical growth and collaboration.

The event wrapped up with the Gen AI Study Jams prize distribution. This segment celebrated participants who excelled in the study jam, showcasing the importance of hands-on experience and dedication in mastering AI. Prizes were awarded to recognize their efforts, motivating others to participate actively in future sessions and events.

In just one hour, Build With AI combined industry insights, team transitions, and student achievements, leaving attendees with a sense of excitement and anticipation for the opportunities GDG On Campus will bring in the coming months.
