A 5-day immersive workshop designed to provide hands-on experience in AI development.

Participants will build FinMitra, a multilingual AI chatbot focused on financial literacy.

The chatbot will provide financial insights, real-time data, and goal-based investment strategies.

Workshop Schedule

Day 1: Introduction & Setup

Overview of FinMitra and its objectives.

Understanding AI-powered chatbots and financial data processing.

Setting up the development environment and required tools.

Day 2: Frontend & Backend Development

Building a Flask-based web interface with multilingual support.

Integrating Google Gemini & Vertex AI for intelligent responses.

Introduction to Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) for real-time data retrieval.

Day 3: AI Capabilities & FAISS Integration

Exploring FAISS (Facebook AI Similarity Search) for efficient data retrieval.

Training and integrating Hugging Face models for enhanced language understanding.

Developing goal-based financial planning features.

Day 4: Telegram Bot Development & Testing

Setting up a Telegram bot for alternative chatbot interaction.

Backend integration and chatbot functionality testing.

Debugging and troubleshooting.

Day 5: Optimization & Deployment

UI/UX refinements for an improved user experience.

Final testing and deployment of the chatbot.

Preparing project documentation for presentations.

Day 6 (February 7th): Hands-on Practice & Final Touches

Participants refine their projects and test features.

Mentorship sessions for final improvements.
