Build with AI OAU 2026 is GDG on Campus OAU’s flagship annual event and an official part of Google’s global Build with AI initiative, which trained over 180,000 developers worldwide in 2025. This year, we are bringing it home to Obafemi Awolowo University.

Hear from leading voices in the Nigerian tech ecosystem, including an opening keynote and two important panel sessions on AI Policy and Regulation and Cybersecurity in the Age of AI.

For the first time, researchers, students, and practitioners will present original work across Technology and AI, Health and Life Sciences, Social Sciences and Policy, and Education.

🏆 Awards and Hackathon Showcase
Celebrate the GDG OAU Hall of Fame Awards and the winners of the Bayse Markets × Build with AI OAU Quantitative Finance Hackathon, featuring nine teams and a ₦450,000 prize pool.

This event marks the culmination of a season that began in April, featuring five pre-series buildathons, one quantitative finance hackathon, hundreds of builders, and over twenty functional AI projects shipped.

July 25 is where it all comes together.
