About this event

CodeSprint 3.0 is the flagship event for Geekmayhem 2025 the annual tech fest, happening on April 04, 2025, at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Yelahanka, Bangalore.

This one-day event aims to provide a platform for tech enthusiasts to showcase their skills and passion for coding. The event is divided into three levels, each offering unique and challenging tasks for participants to complete.

It promises to be engaging and exciting, with participants competing to develop the most innovative solutions.

Get ready to be thrilled and inspired as we witness some of the brightest minds in the tech industry come together to showcase their coding skills!

Guidelines:

All college students are eligible

Intercollege teams are allowed

Carrying your own laptops is mandatory

Code Sprint will consist of 3 rounds to be completed back to back (similar to a Relay Race) -

Round 1: Trivia

Round 2: Capture The Flag

Round 3: Prototype Development

Event Description:

Trivia: Technical knowledge-based questions (including DSA, technical, aptitude, and logical reasoning MCQs) will be asked offline at the venue.

Capture the Flag: Participants must crack a password to access the next track, which will be revealed during the event.

Prototype Development: Participants must develop a prototype using APIs provided by organizers.

Note: Registered teams will be sent confirmation mail with other important details.

Rules:

A team must consist of 2-4 members

Each round contains 50 points

Scores for round 1 will be awarded based on the number of correct answers

Scores for round 2 will be awarded based on speed and other factors.

Scores for round 3 will be awarded based on an idea, implementation, number of APIs used, etc.

The final winners will be decided upon the score

In case of a tie, the one to finish first will be considered
