About this event

The session focused on introducing participants to the core concepts of JavaScript, one of the most popular programming languages for web development. We began by exploring variables and the different ways to declare them (var, let, and const), emphasizing their usage and scope. Participants learned about JavaScript's primary data types, such as strings, numbers, booleans, arrays, and objects.

Next, we delved into functions, explaining the syntax of function declarations and expressions, and discussed the importance of reusable code. We also covered loops (for, while, and forEach) to demonstrate iterative operations and conditionals (if, else if, else, and switch) for decision-making. Through examples and hands-on coding, attendees gained practical experience in writing basic JavaScript code, laying the groundwork for more advanced topics in the future.

By the end of the session, participants had a clearer understanding of how to utilize JavaScript in real-world applications.
