During our previous Introduction to Git/GitHub session, we explored the basics of version control and its importance in collaborative development. We started with an overview of key Git concepts, followed by a hands-on demonstration of essential commands such as git init, git add, git commit, and git push. Next, we introduced GitHub and its role in managing open-source and team projects. Participants learned how to create a remote repository, clone a project, work with branches, resolve conflicts, and contribute using pull requests. The session concluded with a Q&A and practical exercises to reinforce the concepts learned.
