The Google Developers Group on Campus NIT Silchar is hosting an exciting session on Git and GitHub!

Git enables developers to share their code with others, view change history, restore prior versions if required, and work with multiple versions of a project either for features or for testing. Git as a time machine for code is the ultimate tool for any developer to take their projects to the next level. The session is scheduled for 2nd and 3rd November 2024 where attendees will be introduced to the basics of Git as well as enhanced ways of utilising Git and GitHub in development.

From getting introduced to applying version control to extending your Git knowledge, this session will provide you with tools and understanding on how to leverage Git and GitHub for software development to be more efficient. In this session, we will go through a brief overview of Git commands along with branching and collaboration. At the end of the session, you will have practical experience with Git that will enable you to manage real projects involving version control.
