Build your very first Android app, and make it actually useful!
This beginner-friendly workshop takes you from zero to a fully functional Quote Generator app that fetches live motivational quotes from the internet.
You'll learn the fundamentals of Android development: designing clean user interfaces with XML, handling button clicks, making real API calls, and even saving your favorite quotes to view later. No prior Android experience needed β just bring your curiosity and we'll handle the rest.
By the end of this session, you'll have a working app on your machine and the confidence to explore Android development further. Perfect preparation for building your KitaHack 2026 project!
