Flag Hunters is a beginner-friendly Capture The Flag (CTF) workshop designed to introduce students to the exciting world of cybersecurity competitions. Whether you’re completely new to CTFs or have only tried a few challenges before, this event will walk you through the fundamentals in a hands-on and engaging way.

Led by experienced CTF players from MMU Melaka, the workshop will cover four core CTF categories: cryptography, reverse engineering, web exploitation, and digital forensics. Each topic will be explained in an accessible manner, followed by practical examples so participants can see concepts in action.

You’ll also get the chance to practice solving real challenges in a supportive environment, ask questions directly to seasoned players, and learn effective problem-solving strategies.

This cross-campus collaboration between MMU Cyberjaya and MMU Melaka aims to foster stronger bonds within the student cybersecurity community, connect like-minded learners, and encourage more participation in future CTF events.
