🚀 Hey, Google Developer Fam! 🚀

It's time to kickstart an exciting new chapter (literally!) as we officially begin our journey as Google Developer Groups on Campus (GDG on Campus) at Midlands State University! 🎉 Some of you might be wondering, "Wait, wasn’t this Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC)?" Well, yes, BUT now we’ve leveled up ⚡ and we’re ready to bring even more opportunities and innovation under our new banner!

 At this session, we’ll break down what the rebranding means and what awesome opportunities it’s bringing along with it. Spoiler alert: It’s all good stuff, from more Google-powered learning opportunities to exclusive events that’ll make your tech dreams a reality!

Not just that—it’s also going to be a meet and greet (or as we like to call it, a "Hello, World!" session 🌍💻). This is the perfect chance to get to know each other because, let’s be honest, debugging life’s problems is more fun when you’re part of an amazing community. Whether you're a coding ninja 🧑‍💻 or just figuring out what HTML even stands for, this session is for you!

And guess what? Tech isn’t a closed-off club! We’d love for you to invite your friends—even those in non-tech programs. Why? Because no matter what you study, tech is now everyone’s business (just ask ChatGPT 🫣). Bring them along and let's make this a diverse, fun, and collaborative community!

🎯 Oh, and… did I mention DevFest 2024? Yep, preparations are in full swing, and we’re already gearing up to (hopefully) attend. Picture this: hands-on sessions, new tools to play with, epic speakers, and enough coding inspiration to last you a semester. 🙌
