GDG on Campus McMaster University - Hamilton, Canada
Curious about how Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are used in AI? Join us for an introduction to CNNs, where we’ll cover key concepts, explore real-world applications, and dive into a hands-on coding demo in Google Colab! The session will be held on Tuesday March 4th from 6:30PM to 7:30PM. It will be Hybrid, in ETB 224.

Join us for an exciting session on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and their real-world applications! We’ll start with a brief introduction of Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, followed by an in-depth look at how CNNs work. Then, we’ll explore various applications where CNNs are making an impact, from image analysis to pattern recognition and beyond.
The session will wrap up with a hands-on coding demo using Google Colab, where you’ll get to apply what you've learned. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience with deep learning, this event will help you understand how CNNs power modern AI applications!
