On 7th February, Malla Reddy Engineering College & Management Sciences successfully conducted MERAKI – an Ideathon for First-Year students, focused on Product Pitching and Market Research. The event began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp in the esteemed presence of Honourable Secretary Shri V. Kista Reddy Garu, Director of Training & Placement Mr. V. Bharath Simha Reddy, Director of Accounts Mr. V. Raghavendra Reddy, Student Councellor Mrs. V Akansha Reddy, Dr. Shaik Mastan Vali HoD MB, Dr. Z Sultana HoD CSE Data Science & A Swathi HoD H&S.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. V. Bharath Simha Reddy highlighted the importance of such innovation-driven platforms in nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial mindset among students. Following this, the participants showcased their original brand ideas, supported by thorough research, aiming to bridge service gaps through innovation. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A round, where valuable perspectives and constructive feedback were shared.

After careful evaluation, three outstanding ideas and presentations were selected as winners. The event concluded on a high note with smiles, learning, and a memorable group photograph, celebrating innovation, teamwork, and young entrepreneurial spirit. 🚀📸
