The Inter-University Hackathon 2025 is Uganda’s first-ever nationwide AI-powered hackathon, bringing together students from over 20+ Academic Institutions to develop innovative solutions addressing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

📌 Only the Team Lead Can Apply on behalf of all members. 

(Members can be from different universities so longer as they are active students!)

📌 No Member shall appear in more than one team!

• March 22nd - Mar 29th 2025 (Online Info Sessions)
• April 1st - April 10th (Online Hackathon)
• April 10th 11:55 PM - Deadline for Project Submission
• April 15th - Announcement of Top Teams (Invited to AIFest)
• April 19th- AIFest Finale (Physical – Makerere University) 

🌟 Focus Areas: Good Health & Well-being, Quality Education, Climate Action, and Social Impact. We are also open to all the 17 UN SDGs.

Organized by GDG On Campus Makerere University in collaboration with GDG On Campus chapters across Uganda, this event fosters innovation, collaboration, and impact-driven AI solutions for a better future. 

Participants will receive mentorship, networking opportunities, and a chance to win cash prizes. (Prize allocation will be allocated later.)
