About this event

Join us for “The 'Attention' Revolution in Exploring LLMs,” where we will discover the history behind these amazing advances. We will explore how attention mechanisms originated from earlier work on neural networks. Discover how advances such as transformers enabled the giant leap of LLMs from processing a handful of words to paragraphs of complex text at a time.

During this interactive, hands-on session we will explain the concepts of self-attention, multi-head attention, and the actual layers in LLMs that give them such deep ability. They will take you through how LLMs operate, including practical use cases ranging from creative writing to scientific research. We will also look to the future—where LLMs could go next, the ethical questions, and how we can be responsible guides to their destination as creators, developers, and thinkers.
