*Event Overview*

The event “Entrepreneurship in the Startup Environment” was held on Thursday 26 December 2024. And was led by a domain expert, engineer Khalid Abdullah. The session started at 6:15 pm with 24 attendees and ended at 7:45, where attendants varied from KAU students to other universities.

Attendees were introduced to a variety of concepts, dived deep into the startup world and how each is different from the other, addressed the difference between accelerators and incubators in the business world and which is suitable for each startup project, and lastly, talked briefly about the well-known incubator “Sparkthon” and the important opportunities provided.
