The Programming Club (TPC) invites students to a unique session exploring the Code 4 GovTech (C4GT) initiative, which focuses on developing and supporting Digital Public Goods (DPGs). Robust systems like Aadhaar, UPI, CoWin, and Namma Yatri exemplify DPGs that serve India efficiently, and C4GT provides an open-source platform for contributors to engage with these impactful technologies. This initiative offers students an opportunity to make meaningful contributions to open-source projects while supporting the nation’s digital growth.
In this introductory session, attendees will hear firsthand insights from members who have been selected for the program. These participants will share their experiences and discuss the benefits of C4GT, including earning a stipend and showcasing a commitment to the country’s development. This session will provide all the details needed to understand the opportunities within C4GT and how students can get involved in creating digital solutions that benefit society.
