In today’s digital age, government offices rely on technology to deliver services efficiently. However, many public workers underutilize productivity tools and remain at risk of cybersecurity threats such as phishing, weak passwords, and unsafe browsing practices.
This outreach program by GDGoC-HAU and CSIA aims to enhance both digital skills and cyber awareness among local government employees. Through practical workshops and discussions, participants will gain hands-on experience in Google Workspace and learn essential cybersecurity practices to support secure and efficient public service.
Skill-Building: Train public workers to efficiently use Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for streamlined work and collaboration.
Cyber Awareness (CSIA): Teach essential online safety practices, including password creation, 2FA, phishing awareness, and safe browsing.
Professional Growth: Empower participants with digital skills that improve productivity, adaptability, and data security.
Community Engagement: Strengthen collaboration between GDGoC-HAU and CSIA through meaningful community outreach.
By the end of the event, participants will:
✅ Gain hands-on experience using Google Workspace tools.
✅ Understand cybersecurity best practices for safe digital operations.
✅ Apply digital and security skills to improve public service efficiency.
✅ Strengthen partnerships between GDGoC-HAU, CSIA, and local communities.
