The workshop was divided into two key sections, offering participants a comprehensive learning experience:
1. Introduction to the Landscape of Generative AI:
Mr. Devaguptapu kicked off the session by providing an overview of the growing field of Gen AI.
Participants were introduced to cutting-edge AI tools capable of generating various types of media, such
as:
Image generation using AI models
Video creation tools powered by machine learning
Audio and music generation tools, allowing users to create original soundscapes and compositions
2. This section emphasized the versatility of Gen AI, demonstrating its applications in various creative fields,
including art, content creation, and entertainment.
3. Building a Gen AI Application:
The second part of the workshop focused on practical application, where participants were guided stepby-step through building their own Gen AI projects. The key tools and technologies used in this session
included:
Langchain: A powerful framework for developing applications that harness large language models
(LLMs) to enable AI-driven decision-making and content creation.
Gradlon: A specialized tool designed to help streamline the process of building AI applications by
managing workflows and simplifying integration with other AI models.
LLM (Large Language Models): Attendees learned how to use LLMs to create interactive applications
capable of understanding and generating human-like text, which is crucial in modern AI development.
Vector Databases: Essential for managing and querying large datasets used in AI training, vector
databases helped participants understand how to optimize AI performance with structured data.
Google Colab: A cloud-based platform that provided an accessible environment for writing and
executing Python code, offering participants a practical space to test their Gen AI applications.
Hugging Face: A popular open-source AI community that provides access to pre-trained models,
making it easier for attendees to implement AI functionalities without starting from scratch.
4. Throughout the session, participants had the opportunity to create their own AI avatars, applying the
knowledge they gained from using these tools. By the end of the workshop, they had handson experience
in building a functional Gen AI application.
