Overview

The GDG Solutions Challenge 2025 is an annual global competition organized by Google Developer Groups (GDG) to empower developers, students, and tech enthusiasts to create impactful solutions using Google technologies. The challenge encourages participants to address pressing global issues by aligning their projects with one or more of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This event provides an incredible opportunity for developers to showcase their skills, collaborate with like-minded innovators, and build projects that can drive positive change in the world. Participants will receive mentorship, access to Google’s cutting-edge technology, and the chance to present their solutions to a global audience.

Participants must align their projects with at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include but are not limited to:

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on:

Impact: How well does the solution address the chosen SDG?

Technology Use: Effective utilization of Google technologies.

Innovation: Creativity and uniqueness of the solution.

Scalability & Feasibility: Potential for real-world implementation.

Presentation & Documentation: Clarity and completeness of the submission.
