The Final Algorithm is a high-octane, multi-event competitive series aimed at testing a participant’s mettle across design, development, problem-solving, and time-management. Spread across four uniquely crafted events, each challenge tests a distinct skill set ensuring a holistic, thrilling experience for creative and technical minds.

Eligibility:
Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Individual participation only.
Participants must join the official WhatsApp channel for event updates and coordination, and the official Discord Channel for the final event. Keep an eye on the official event website - https://the-final-algorithm.vercel.app ; for continual updates and announcements.
Competition Format:
Scoring Format:
1st Place - 5 credits
2nd Place - 3 credits
3rd Place - 2 credits
Other Participants - 1 credit
At the end of the series, the Grand Winner will be the participant with the highest cumulative credits.
Tiebreakers:
The winner of the final event takes precedence.
If still tied, the participant with the fastest total submission time across events is declared the winner.
Event Overview:
Event 1: PromptCon - 20th July, 2025
Duration
3 hours from the official start time.
Participants must submit their entries within this window.
Rules:
Choose any open-source AI image generation tool (e.g., ChatGPT, Stable Diffusion, Leonardo AI, etc.)
Participants must replicate a reference image using only text prompts (no
uploading/editing/tracing).
The closest match wins (evaluated by a panel of judges).
Only AI-generated images via text prompt are allowed – no manual drawing, filters,
or editing.
Submissions must include:
Final generated image
The exact prompt(s) used
The tool/software used
Event 2: CSS Jeontu - 27th July, 2025
Duration:
3 hours from the official start time
Participants must submit their entries within this window.
Rules:
5 Designs will be uploaded on the official Instagram story of the organizing club.\
Participants must recreate any 3 out of the 5 designs using only HTML & CSS
(no JavaScript or external libraries allowed).
No AI-generated or copied code. Code must be written by the participant. Plagiarism will lead to immediate disqualification.
Designs should be responsive or at least display correctly on a standard desktop screen size
Code must be clean and readable. Use proper indentation and comments if needed.
Screenshots must show the full design (do not crop any part).
Participants must submit a GitHub repository containing the details mentioned in the timeline below
Fewest lines wins incase the images are replicated by multiples people and the css element code should not contain any image urls
Event 3: Digital Dalgona - 3rd August, 2025
Duration:
5 hours from the official start time
Participants must submit their entries within this window.
Rules:
Participants must use only Figma to build their UI designs.
You are expected to start from the provided wireframe copy — not from scratch or
any pre-built template.
All design elements must be original, created during the event duration.
Designs must adhere strictly to the theme and requirements shared during the
event.
Use of AI design tools (e.g., Figma plugins like Magician, Autoflow, ChatGPT for
copywriting, etc.) is permitted only for assistance, not for complete design
generation.
Direct AI-generated UIs or copied components from AI tools or design websites
(e.g., UI kits, Dribbble, Behance, Pinterest) will lead to immediate disqualification.
Plagiarism in any form will not be tolerated.
Designs copied or heavily inspired from online portfolios or another participant's work
will lead to instant disqualification.

Consistency and use of color, typography, and components
Event 4: 4.5.6. - 10th August, 2025
Duration:
6 hours from the official start time
Participants must complete all rooms within this window.
No entries beyond the time limit will be allowed.
Rules:
Answer Format: Each room requires exactly ONE English word as the answer.
Submission Method: Use /answer command in Discord to submit your response.
Case Sensitivity: Answers are accepted regardless of case (upper/lower).
Answer Attempts: Multiple attempts allowed, but all attempts are tracked.
Room Progression: Must complete rooms sequentially (Room 1 → Room 2 → Room 3 → Room 4 → Room 5).
Voice Chat Restriction: Refrain from discussing answers in voice channels.
Solo Participation: Individual event - no team collaboration allowed during gameplay.
Hints System: Moderators will provide time-based hints in respective room channels based on elapsed time and number of players still in that room.
Leaderboard Transparency: A dedicated leaderboard channel will display real-time player distribution across rooms via visual bar graphs to maintain fairness.
