The Intro to GDG + SDGs event, hosted by the Google Developer Group (GDG) CUB, aims to introduce new members to the goals and vision of GDG while connecting it to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This session will explore how technology and developers can play a critical role in addressing global challenges, such as poverty, climate change, and inequality, by leveraging innovative solutions.

As a highlight of the event, we will introduce last year’s Google Solution Challenge winners, who will showcase their innovative project and explain how it aligned with the SDGs. The event will provide an overview of the SDGs and discuss how the GDG community can contribute to achieving these goals through various projects, initiatives, and collaboration. Attendees will learn about the resources available through GDG and how they can actively engage in creating positive social impact through tech-driven efforts.
