🌟Want to learn more about algorithms? 🌟

This workshop is the right place to start! The Stacked Together Workshop focuses on learning algorithms in a beginner-welcoming setup.

During the sessions, we will discuss the algorithms presented in the book Grokking Algorithms by Aditya Bhargava, available to all Conestoga College students at O'Reilly.

The book chosen will give the participants a starting point for understanding the basics of algorithms, Big-O Notation, and some data structures.

How the study group will be organized:

• Before each session, we'll inform the participants which book's chapters will be discussed; that way, everyone has the chance to read them.
• On the session day, we'll briefly recap the chapter, followed by a discussion about it. That's our time to bring questions and help each other.
• The hands-on session is essential! We'll work through practical exercises. Come ready to tackle engaging questions and solidify your understanding through practice! 👩🏽‍💻👨🏻‍💻

Frequency:

• The initial idea is to run the sessions biweekly so we can have enough time to read the next chapter and keep a regular schedule to study the topics, increasing knowledge retention.
• Didn't you have time to read the next chapter? No worries. It's not mandatory to read the chapter in advance. We will recap the content at the beginning of each section so everybody can join and try. We still recommend that you try to read the book on your own time 😊
