CougarHacks is Caldwell University’s signature hackathon event that brings together students from all backgrounds to innovate, collaborate, and create meaningful tech solutions in just 24 hours. Whether you're into coding, design, hardware, or just love solving problems, CougarHacks welcomes all levels of experience — from first-time hackers to seasoned pros.
Participants team up to build creative projects around themes like education, health, IoT, and sustainability, with access to mentors, workshops, and helpful resources throughout the event. There’s plenty of food, snacks, and energy drinks to keep the ideas flowing all night, plus games, giveaways, and a chill vibe to make the experience fun and rewarding.
At the end, teams present their projects to a panel of judges, with the chance to win exciting prizes and showcase their work on GitHub or portfolios. CougarHacks is more than just a competition — it’s a space to learn new skills, make new friends, and bring bold ideas to life.
