As the organizer for GDG On Campus, I recently had the pleasure of conducting interviews for both our tech and non-tech teams. This experience was not only rewarding but also a lot of fun, as I got to meet so many enthusiastic and talented individuals.

During the tech team interviews, I was excited to dive into conversations about their coding experiences, favorite projects, and the challenges they’ve faced along the way. Hearing their stories and innovative solutions was truly inspiring. It’s amazing to see how passionate they are about technology and how eager they are to learn and grow.

On the other hand, the non-tech team interviews brought a different energy. I loved discussing ideas around communication, marketing, and event planning. It was refreshing to see candidates share their creative strategies for engaging our community and making our events memorable. Their enthusiasm for building connections and fostering a welcoming atmosphere was infectious.

Throughout the interview process, I aimed to create a relaxed and open environment. I wanted everyone to feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and aspirations. It was heartening to see how many candidates not only had the right skills but also embodied our values of collaboration and support.

Overall, this experience reinforced my belief in the power of teamwork. By bringing together individuals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds, we can create a vibrant and inclusive community.
