About this event

The "SDG حل شناس" challenge is an exceptional opportunity for students to showcase their creativity and technical expertise by developing innovative solutions that address one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

1. Choose a problem: You need to select a problem that affects your community or society at large. The problem should ideally align with one of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

2. Develop a solution: Using your skills in technology, design a solution (such as an app, website, or platform) that addresses the selected problem. This solution should be practical, innovative, and scalable.

3. Form a team: You can participate individually or with a team of up to 3 members. Collaborating with people who have diverse skills (e.g., coding, design, project management) can be beneficial.

4. Use Google technologies: The solution should incorporate at least one Google technology. Some popular options include Google Cloud, Firebase, Android, TensorFlow, or other Google APIs.

5. Create a prototype: Build a working prototype or a minimum viable product (MVP) of your solution that demonstrates how it addresses the problem effectively.

6. Submit the project: Submit your project by the deadline, including all necessary documentation such as a project description, the technology used, and a demo video that explains the solution.

7. Pitch your solution: You will have to present your solution to a panel of judges, showcasing how your project solves the chosen problem and how it uses Google technologies.

This one-day event will include:

  • A diverse and professional judging panel to evaluate the projects.
  • A chance to compete with talented students from multiple universities, fostering collaboration and healthy competition.
  • A lively bonfire and jamming night to celebrate participants' efforts and provide a platform for networking in a fun environment.

This challenge also serves as a gateway to the prestigious Google Solution Challenge, offering participants the opportunity to compete on an international stage.

Stay tuned for more details! This is your chance to transform your ideas into impactful solutions, connect with professionals, and showcase your talent on a global platform.
