Ready, Set, Hack! A Crash Course for Innovators was a pre-event webinar conducted on April 1, 2025, as part of The BlueCode: Zamboanga Hackathon 2025. Designed for students, aspiring developers, and innovators who could not join the hackathon itself, the session served as a primer to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical insights on key areas of technology and innovation.

The webinar introduced participants to the fundamentals of hackathons—including how they work, what to expect, and how to navigate the ideation, design, and pitching process. The sessions featured discussions on Design Thinking and UX/UI principles, emphasizing accessibility and human-centered design, as well as the evolving relationship between technology and education. A segment on technopreneurship provided a deep dive into transforming tech ideas into startup-ready ventures.

This event also aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, and formed part of the 20th Anniversary celebration of the CSITE Department, emphasizing the importance of fostering innovation, creativity, and inclusivity in the learning experience.
