Topics Covered
The workshop is structured to provide a holistic learning experience. Key topics include:
Installing NodeJS: NodeJS is a powerful JavaScript runtime environment that allows developers to build scalable server-side applications. Learn what NodeJS is, how to install and configure it, and explore its ecosystem, including npm for managing dependencies.
React Basics: React is a popular JavaScript library for building dynamic and interactive user interfaces. Understand core concepts like components, props, and state, set up a React development environment, and create reusable components while building a simple React application.
Tailwind CSS: Tailwind CSS is a utility-first CSS framework that makes designing modern and responsive web layouts a breeze. Learn the principles of utility-first design, install and configure Tailwind CSS, and build responsive layouts effectively.
This workshop is open to beginners, enthusiasts, students, and professionals eager to enhance their skill set and stay competitive in the evolving tech landscape.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have a clear understanding of NodeJS, React, and Tailwind CSS. They will be able to install and configure these tools independently, create responsive and user-friendly web applications, and apply these skills to personal or professional projects.
The workshop will be conducted online via Google Meet, ensuring accessibility and convenience for all participants. The session will include interactive presentations, live coding sessions, Q&A opportunities, and resource sharing to reinforce learning.
NodeJS allows developers to use JavaScript on the server side, enabling full-stack development with a single programming language. React simplifies building user interfaces with its component-based architecture, while Tailwind CSS offers a modern approach to styling with utility-first design, speeding up the design process.
To make the most of this session, participants are recommended to install a code editor like Visual Studio Code, ensure NodeJS is pre-installed, have a stable internet connection, and keep a notebook handy for taking notes.
