CodeSpire 2.0 is a national-level coding competition designed to promote innovation, enhance logical thinking, and foster collaboration among students from colleges across the country. The event provides participants an opportunity to work on real-world problems, sharpen their programming skills, and experience the pressure of working within tight deadlines.
The competition is structured in two main rounds: an online preliminary round and an offline final round. The online round will be hosted on Unstop, ensuring a fair and accessible platform for all participants, while the offline final round will take place at AITR Indore, bringing together the best teams to compete in a high-energy, on-campus coding challenge.
Event Details:
Online Round Dates: 7th December 2024, 3:00 PM to 8th December 2024, 3:00 PM
Offline Round Date: 23rd December 2024
Location: AITR Indore (Offline Round)
Team Size: 1-2 members (No gender criteria)
Registration Fee: Rs. 100 per team
Eligibility: Open to all students from any college in India, with no restrictions on specialization.
Online Round (Preliminary):
Duration: 1 hour (Participants can attempt the round anytime within the given window)
Questions: 3 coding problems of easy to medium difficulty, based on basic competitive programming concepts and logical application.
Platform: Unstop (for fairness and proper oversight)
Marking Criteria: Participants will be evaluated based on accuracy and the time taken to solve the problems.
This round will be accessible for a 24-hour period, allowing participants to attempt the problems at their convenience between 7th December, 3:00 PM and 8th December, 3:00 PM. The solutions will be evaluated based on correctness and efficiency.
Offline Round (Final Round):
Duration: 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: AITR Indore
Questions: 5 real-world problems that require analytical thinking and concepts of Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
Marking Criteria: Judging will be based on the most accurate output and the approach used to solve the problems. In case a complete solution is not achieved, partial solutions with optimal approaches will be considered.
Teams will choose one of the 5 problems one hour before the competition starts. After that, they will have 5 hours to work on and submit their solutions.
Interested teams must register on Unstop by submitting the registration fee and filling out the required details. Shortlisted teams from the online round will receive further instructions regarding the offline round.
