GDG Lagos alongside GDG Ajah, GDG Ojo-Festac and GDG Ikorodu would be hosting its Devfest event on the 17th October in 2020, another of its kind. For the first time ever, the event is virtual as a result of the pandemic. This year’s event is going to run for 2 hours featuring 10 speakers spanning across Web technologies, Mobile, Cloud and Machine learning.
In the previous Devfest event in 2019, we hosted 2000+ participants which started with a Keynote and then different speakers spoke in different breakout rooms.
This year’s event is going to run a little differently. The event is scheduled to start at 11am (WAT) online before different speakers anchor their sessions.
We expect to see speakers like Segun Famisa who’s giving a talk about “Keeping up with Jetpack compose”, Praise Damilola Adanlawo speaking about “Deploying microservices on Kubernetes at scale” and others at the top of the industry.
