About this event

Google’s Women Techmakers program provides visibility, community, and resources for women in technology. Google's Women Techmaker will be organizing the three days training for freshers (100 level students) and interested satellites within and outside LAUTECH. The training is planned to gear up young minds (especially novice and beginners) from different fields and with diverse skills together to solve the problem(s) facing the community with technology. With the increase in technological innovations, there is an ever-increasing need to bridge the gap between the past and the technologically-oriented future with innovative solutions. The training will come up immediately after an orientation program themed Kick Starting your Tech Career as a Genius. The event is particularly aimed at igniting the passion very early in young minds to come together in solving problems in the Education, Agriculture, Finance and Health sectors. This training will be the building block to unlock the potential of young tech enthusiasts having amazing ideas which can be built on and utilized in providing a lasting solution to the problems faced by the community.
