About this event

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. IWD has occurred for well over a century and supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organization specific.

This year Ogbomoso and Ibadan Community will be coming together to host #IWDOYO'20. The event will last for two days. 

DAY 1:

The event starts at 3:45 pm and it will be a hands-on session with well-experienced tutors. IWD event will be virtual for both Ibadan and Ogbomoso on this day.

It will be a training/hands-on section and it is advisable to come with your laptop for the training. 

The link to attend will be accessible on this platform 15 mins to the event time.

DAY 2:

It will be the main event day with lined up seasoned speakers that will inspire you. The event will be virtual for both locations and there will be a physical event ONLY in Ogbomoso.  It will be a general session for the IWD 2021 Celebrations.
WTM Ibadan Members, WTM Ogbomoso members and other community members are expected to RSVP for this event even if you're attending online or offline.

On the Day of the event, the link to attend online will be accessible 15mins to the event on this platform.
The Virtual event will be on zoom. 

The Physical centre in Ogbomoso will only be accessible on Saturday and the venue is AMB Hall, behind FAG, LAUTECH Ogbomoso.
