International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. IWD has occurred for well over a century and is supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organization specific.

This year GDG Ogbomoso Community will host #IWDOGBOMOSO'22. The event will last for three days.

DAY 1 and 2:

The event starts at 4 pm and it will be a hands-on session with well-experienced tutors. IWD event will be virtual on both days.

It will be a training/hands-on section and it is advisable to come with your laptop for the training.

DAY 3:

It will be the main event day with lined up seasoned speakers that will inspire you. The event will be a physical event in Ogbomoso. It will be a general session for the IWD 2022 Celebrations.

WTM Ogbomoso members and other community members are expected to RSVP for this event even if you're attending online or offline.

On the Day of the event, the link to attend online will be accessible 15mins to the event on this platform.
