Welcome to Pacific DevFest 2021!	Let's get to know each other! We are kicking things off with a fun and interactive networking session.
Track 1: Cloud Study Jam with Dan Goncharov	Come and Code Along with Dan and learn the fundamentals of Contact Center AI. In this session, you'll learn how to design conversational flows for your agent. Contact Center AI can increase customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by improving call deflection rates and achieve shorter handling, while making overall operations faster and more effective. This is a hands-on coding workshop.
Track 2: Android Study Jam (Advanced)	Learn how to build and run your first Android app in the Kotlin programming language. Kotlin is a statically typed programming language that runs on JVM and is completely interoperable with the Java programming language. In this track, you'll learn how to use Android Studio to build your app, how to run your app on a device or in the emulator, how to add interactive buttons, and how to display a second screen when a button is pressed. This course assumes you are an experienced programming with knowledge of either Java or Kotlin. This is a hands-on coding workshop. To participate, you will need a computer with Android Studio 3.6 or higher already installed.
Track 3: Career Keynote with Zoraida Martinez Duarte	Zoraida Martinez Duarte is currently a project manager at Bitwise Industries, but her career path hasn't been easy. Join this session for an inspiring take on the roller coaster of life, and you might learn something about yourself along the way.
Track 3: Navigating Career Changes (Panel Presentation)	Whether you are just getting into a new tech career or have already been here a while, we all have to navigate the changes. This session will feature a panel of speakers who have all been through some big career changes and are now working in different areas of the tech industry. We’ll get real as we talk about how to survive the career-change leap, strategies for learning new skills (while working a different job), how to talk about your transferable job skills, where to start looking for new opportunities, how to stay focused on your goals, and more! Don’t miss this fun and empowering session!
Track 1: Cloud Study Jam (continued)	This is part 2 of the Cloud Study Jam: Building Virtual Agent Fulfillment! In this session, youʻll continue working on your Pigeon Travel chat agent and add context as well as set up fulfillment to lookup and store reservation entries in Firestore. This is a hands-on coding workshop.
Track 3: Helping Women Thrive in Tech (Panel Presentation)	Women were pioneers of early computing, but are still underrepresented in the tech industry today. Although the industry has come a long way, there is still a lot that we can all do to help women thrive in tech. Join this session to hear from a panel of inspiring women leaders in different segments of the industry, discuss the pervasive challenges, and learn what you can do to help create a more inclusive working environment for women and other underrepresented folx.
