The ways we interact, connect, and communicate changed overnight. We are learning how to be present in uncertain times. We have to find ways to feel connected while social distancing. Clear and confident communication has never been more important.

Join WomenTechmakers and GDG NYC for a virtual communication workshop with PresentVoices https://presentvoices.co/ Founder Leah Bonvissuto to talk about how to communicate effectively while working at home. In this hour-long interactive workshop, we'll practice tangible tools to speak with more confidence and clarity when interacting, meeting, or presenting on video.

SPEAKER BIO:
Leah Bonvissuto is a Workplace Communication Consultant who founded PresentVoices to help people talk about their work and have better conversations. Raised by a Broadway musician and a mime-turned-magician, Leah spent many years as a theater director and started doing this work in public hospitals. Today, her work is living theater—she has helped thousands of people talk to each other at companies including LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, and AIG. Leah has been featured in Forbes, Inc.com, Success Magazine, Harvard Business Review, Bustle, Real Simple, and Communications Week, and she speaks about employee engagement, conscious conversations, social media as the new public speaking, and how workplaces can hear and amplify more voices. Leah is on a mission to normalize the anxiety so many of us feel speaking up at work so that more people can speak up and be heard. For more information visit https://presentvoices.co/.
