About this event

AndroidCamp is a single-day 2-session conference that we are organizing as part of the OpenCamps series being hosted at the United Nations in July.

The "daytime" session (9am-5pm) has limited space and will offer a hands-on training workshop for absolute beginners. You must bring a laptop (and charger), install the required software (Android Studio) and build your first non-trivial Android app.

The "evening" session (6pm-9pm) will be a large cross-community meetup and will offer a chance to hear tech talks and lightning talks from Android experts and developers.

Android Camp is "open to everyone" but you MUST register to attend at this website:

http://androidcamp.io/

Tickets are provided on a "pay what you can" basis -- we suggest a donation of $20 to help defray our costs for the event. However, do set it to $0 if needed or raise it higher if you feel generous and want to support this effort.

Android Camp Speakers and Agenda are now live at:
