When developing a new feature, a feature flag can be used to hide the feature to prevent exposing it to users in the middle of development. After the feature is finished being developed, gradually rolling the feature out to users can help when unforeseen issues occur, and if that does happen, rolling back the feature immediately is necessary. Come learn more about how you can confidently roll out new features with feature flagging by using Firebase Remote Config!

Developer Relations Engineer
Frank (or Puf) is an engineer for Firebase at Google. He helps developers build extraordinary apps that use Firebase as their back-end. If you've ever asked a Firebase question on StackOverflow, you've probably met Frank already.
Leigha Jarett joined the Flutter team as a Product Manager, focusing on making Flutter the best framework for building beautiful apps. She used to be a Product Manager for Looker, Google Cloud's enterprise business intelligence platform. Outside of work, she loves to paint and spends her free time exploring her hometown of Brooklyn with her yellow lab.
Andrea is a developer relations engineer who spends the majority of her time coming up with ideas on how to help developers use Firebase, resulting in a lot of content like blogs, videos, external documentation, and presentations. In her past life, she was a software engineer building pretty sweet features for Firebase, Yahoo Finance's mobile web and Android app, and Cisco's ASA Firewall. As she also greatly cares about diversifying the tech industry, she teaches and mentors students typically underrepresented in tech through various education equity efforts across Google and for non-profits, and in her free time, you can find her hiking and running in nature with her camera, meeting people from all over the world as she lives nomadically, writing, and trying food from every culture.

Joshua is a Developer Advocate at Wix and a FullStack developer from NY. He loves to collect vinyl records, create beats and produce samples for music artists.
