Come and learn with us in a highly interactive Cloud Study Jam, organized by the Northeast Region. This event is part 1 of a 3-part Cloud Study Jam Series.
What's a Cloud Study Jam?
A Study Jam is a collective learning program combining practical developer experience with Google Cloud expertise. Like-minded developers come together to hone their skills and further their cloud knowledge through interactive classrooms and hands-on labs.
Earn a skill badge by completing the Create and Manage Cloud Resources quest, where you learn how to do the following:
- Write gcloud commands and use Cloud Shell
- Create and deploy virtual machines in Compute Engine
- Run containerized applications on Google Kubernetes Engine
- Configure network and HTTP load balancers.
Attendees will receive free access to hands-on labs via Qwiklabs (a $55+ value), which mirrors a real-life working environment.
Earn Google Cloud Skill badges to show your skills and expertise.
A skill badge is an exclusive digital badge issued by Google Cloud in recognition of your proficiency with Google Cloud products and services and tests your ability to apply your knowledge in an interactive hands-on environment. Complete this skill badge quest, and the final assessment challenge lab, to receive a skill badge that you can share with your network.
This event is a joint collaboration between the following GDG Chapters:
