M. Yusuf Sarıgöz is a co-founder and artificial intelligence engineer at Turkish startup AI Labs, innovating the retail industry with deep learning solutions. His main interests lie in deep learning for computer vision and neural machine translation. He has a long experience in large-scale and efficient face recognition on the edge and fully unsupervised neural machine translation in unparallel corpora, and has developed new model architectures in these fields. Sarıgöz is also highly active in the AI/ML community, facilitating workshops on Tensorflow, Keras and AI/ML in the cloud and mentoring scholars in Sabancı Foundation Scholarship Program.
