Space is limited and loaner hardware will be available. Bring a laptop with the latest version of Android Studio installed (see https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html ).

Android Things is a platform that brings the power of Android development to embedded and IoT devices. Android developers can use the SDK, Google services, and development tools they are familiar with to get up and running quickly. In this session, you will learn why Android Things exists and have an opportunity to build your first Android Things application on real hardware.

Agenda

Android Things Overview (30 minutes)

Getting Started Demo (30 minutes)

Hands-on Codelab (60 minutes)
