She is an international speaker and community organiser for unStack Africa and JVM Nigeria, and is enthusiastic about Java, women in technology, and developer communities. Chiamaka enjoys giving talks at conferences including SpringOne, JNation, Github Africa, London Java Community (LJC) meetup, and Tech(K)nowDay
Joanna is the Engineering Director of AMP UI Warsaw Team, responsible for building User Interface (UI) for top Google Cloud products such as Google Kubernetes Engine, Serverless and Anthos platform. Joanna has many years of experience in the financial industry - she spent 14+ years at Goldman Sachs, where she led the Global Markets Engineering teams in Warsaw, and founded and managed the Warsaw Women’s Network. Joanna graduated from Computer Science at the Silesian University of Technology.
Shannon is a Software Engineer at Pace Revenue building interactive user interfaces. She studied Computer Science at The University of British Columbia. After working in academic research and fintech in Canada, she moved to London to work on innovative web technologies in the startup space. Outside of work you can find her creating tech workshops, mentoring students, and volunteering for programs that encourage diversity in tech.
Thuy Doan is a software developer, freelance writer, and speaker. Having come from a non-traditional tech background in advertising, then transitioning to tech via a development bootcamp in 2016, she is passionate about helping early-career developers get into and excel in tech in their own way. Outside of work she has a solo podcast about growth called Candid & Cringe and goes to a lot of concerts.
Arisa is a DevRel Engineer at Storyblok & an organizer of a free tech skill & knowledge-sharing community, Lilac. Her mission is to learn, speak, connect and help. In her private time, she is a podcaster, an Aikido fighter, GirlCode ambassador, and a Front-End Foxes School mentor.
Beatrice is an Associate Software Engineer at Spotify, with a unique background into the tech industry. After graduating from SOAS University, with an MA in Gender Studies, she randomly decided to work in the finance industry. She yearned to be creative and loved STEM subjects at school. She decided to teach herself how to code and knew that she wanted to code in her job. She left her role in finance and attended a coding bootcamp where she upskilled in software development. Outside of her current job, she loves fitness, watching anime, playing and sometimes making video games.
Carly is an Incoming Developer Advocate at Elastic. Prior to this she spent 10 years working at a large investment bank, specialising in Frontend Web development and agility. Outside of work she is an agile evangelist, UI enthusiast, regular blogger on her personal site and Medium and avid tea drinker.
