In order to commemorate International Women's Day, the GDG-Ndéré via the WTM organizes an event to bring together women who love ICT, who can contribute to the development of the Women Tech community in Ngaoundere.

At first, the IWD theme is “ Dare to be”. To better adapt this to our objectives of the year, we thought it better to focus on the digital, growth vector in all domains. so we invite all women, even those who do not have the academic ICT profile, to step in to ensure that women are not sidelined for the development of our country For the objective of the event, we aim to empower more women into Tech and encourage them to join Women Techmakers-Ndere so that we can have innovations from them and a considerable women representation doing awesome things in the successive events. We want to inspire new leaders of WTM-Ndere and have many innovations from women coming from their representation.
The event’s main target audience will be the women in the university and around the community. Members of Women Techmakers-Ndéré will be a vital part of the turnout. We will also welcome members of the GDG Ndéré community .
