In order to introduce GDG communities to CLOUD technologies in general and the use of Google's platform in this area, Cloud study has been launched. Like most GDGs, the GDG Ndéré will implement this training this February 28, 2018.

Afin d’initier les communautés GDG aux technologies de CLOUD en général et à l’usage de la plateforme de Google en la matière, Cloud study jams a été lancé. Comme la plupart des GDG, le GDG Ndéré va mettre en œuvre cette formation ce 28 février 2018.

Au programme
1- Creating a Virtual Machine: In this hands-on lab, you’ll learn how to create a Google Compute Engine virtual machine and understand zones, regions, and machine types. 2- Provision Services with Cloud Launcher: In this hands-on lab you'll learn how to use Cloud Launcher to quickly get started with common operating systems, web frameworks, and databases. 3- Creating a Persistent Disk: In this hands-on lab, you’ll learn how to create a persistent disk and use it on a Google Compute Engine virtual machine. You’ll also learn about zones, regions, and different disk types. 4- Rent-a-VM to Process Earthquake Data: In this lab you spin up a virtual machine, configure its security, access it remotely, and then carry out the steps of an ingest-transform-and-publish data pipeline manually. This lab is part of a series of labs on processing scientific data.
