Talk #1
Are you interested in learning more about the extensibility of the Kubernetes API? Let's take a look together at a new Lambda-like prototype put together by Google, and presented at KubeCon in December.
After a short recap about the general design of a Kubernetes controller (or "operator"), I will explore how a developer can build the same kind of automation by providing a simple language-agnostic function.
Feel free to jump in already by taking a look at the project on GitHub: https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/kube-metacontroller

Talk #2
How to start to do Go programming for and with Kubernetes? Current experiences and lessons learned from using kubernetes/client-go trying to help you start

About Stefan
Stefan has almost never officially worked as a programmer, but has always programmed since he started working in IT in the late-Nineties.
After the announcement of the outsourcing of his workplace to an IT service company, he reoriented himself and caught up on cutting-edge technologies like Cloud, Big Data, IoT, AI etc.
Checking out a modern general-purpose language he put his main focus from Scala to Go. He wrote his first Go code last February and has been an enthusiastic Go fan ever since. Currently, he is on the way to deep dive into Kubernetes and is starting to do Go programming for the cloud ecosystem in cooperation with Loodse GmbH.
