About this event

Tango (formerly Project Tango) is an Augmented reality Computing platform, developed and authored by Google. It uses computer vision to enable mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, to detect their position relative to the world around them without using GPS or other external signals.

Travis Cheek has had an interest in 3D scanning and  indoor mapping. Travis has recently has gotten his hands on the the first commercially available Tango phone. I personally look forward to the overview and invite discussion and question related to indoor mapping and computer vision.
